Once a sleepy fishing village and a retreat for Hawaiian royalty, Kailua Village on the sunny Kona Coast is now a destination for great shopping, dining and learning about Hawaii’s rich culture. The condo is less than 1 mile from Kailua Village giving you easy access to beaches, shops and activities. An easy 5 minute walk to Honl's Beach or popular restaurants like Broke Da Mouth Grill, Don The Beachcomber, Don's Mai Tai Bar, Huggo's, or On The Rocks. Snorkeling, swimming and surfing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the condo. Popular points of interest near the condo include Kailua Bay and Pier, Hulihe‘e Palace State Monument, Magic Sands Beach and Kahaluu Beach Park.
1-Bedroom, 1-Bath, 3rd-top floor (no elevator), mountain view condominium with a spacious open floor plan that comfortably accommodates up to 2 guests. Updated with new paint and laminate floors in the living-room and bedroom. The bathroom has new paint, new vanity, tile floors and shower. Air conditioning and WIFI are provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Almost everything in the condo is new (furniture, TV, pots/pans, dishes, glassware, linens, towels etc). There is a coin-operated laundry facility conveniently located on the bottom floor of the building. The complex has a year-round outdoor pool and picnic/grill area. One free parking space is provided on site.
Located on the south end of Kailua Village, you can easily walk to a multitude of world-class coffee houses, restaurants, bars, boutiques, art galleries, ice cream shops. One mile from Kailua Pier where you can board boats that will take you on dolphin and manta ray swims, whale watching tours, scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing excursions, and dinner and sunset cruises.
Walk, rent a bike or moped, take a Lyft/Uber or the Kona Trolley to local favorites like Kona Brewing or Umeke’s Restaurant. Shopping at Target and Costco is within a 5-mile radius of the rental. Ride the Kona Trolley for $2 up and down Alii Drive from Keauhou Bay to Walmart, Safeway, Target, Resorts and beaches. Whale watching, hiking, and Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park are all close by.
